The market of present for Vietnamese Teacher's Day started

The Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20) is a chance to honour the teachers, in which presents are often chosen by many people instead of words. As same as many past years, the market of present for the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is “hot”.

Despite the change in design, presents on November 20 this year are still familiar products including flowers always selected by many people with the main types such as roses, orchids, etc... Currently, almost all kinds of flowers sold in My Tho is originated from Da Lat so flower shops always take initiative in source of flowers.

According to the flower shop Tuyet Hong (ward 1, My Tho City), the purchasing powder of flower in the days near the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day will increase incomparison with ordinary days. In particular, the rose will double the price compared with ordinary days, about VND15,000 VND per flower, and other flowers are less fluctuated. To prepare for November 20, many people have ordered from the previous days, with prices from VND200,000 to VND1.2 million per basket.

Besides flowers, cloth is also commonly selected as present on November 20. At the cloth shop No. 5, the purchasing power of cloths has increased by about 30% compared to weekdays and most of buyers used to give teachers a present. Many cloths imported from Thai Tuan Company (Ho Chi Minh City) and Korea. In general, the clothes have innovated in design to attract customers.

Also on the occasion of November 20, cosmetics are also often selected as present, especially for women. Deputy Director of the My Tho Nguyen Tho Co.opmart supermarket said that presents on the occasion of Novmeber 20 at supermarkets this year is mainly cosmetic goods. Recent records showed that the purchasing power of these items increased. A number of schools in the city ordered presents for teachers on November 20. Also on this occasion, to stimulate consumption, supermarkets offered many promotions, discounts attractive when buying goods at supermarkets.
