According to many pineapple gardeners in the My Phuoc town, the Tan Phuoc district, the price of pineapple began to increase from VND 1,500 to 1,700/kg. Accordingly, the largest fruit type is VND 5,000-5,500/kg, the remaining varieties are VND 4,000-4,300/kg.

The pineapple prices rise because some pineapple growing areas of the Hau Giang and Kien Giang provinces have almost finished harvesting while the demand for pineapple as still quite high in the market.

According to the statistics, there are over 16,300 hectares of pineapple in the Tan Phuoc district. The price of pineapple is a good sign for the farmers in the Tan Phuoc district.
