According to statistics, the Tan Phuoc district has 131 cover dikes, with a length of 719 km protected area of 17,891 hectares, of which more than 16,469 hectares of pineapple. In order to promptly protect the existing area, the district has arranged 148 pumping stations with 284 water pumps, mainly electric pumps. Up to this point, 133 water pumps have been deposited with the electricity industry and operated, ensuring not to flood the pineapple when heavy rain as well as tides to occur.
