At the same time, many relevant departments and agencies need to focus on enterprise development, assessing whether newly established enterprises at the beginning of the term contributed to the state budget or not.

Besides, he also asked the Tien Giang Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to speed up the payment process to support pig farmers destroyed by African swine cholera.

According to the Tien Giang Department of Finance, in the first six months, the total state budget revenue in the province is more than 5,756 billion VND, reaching 61.86% of the yearly estimate.

In which, domestic revenue is over 5,390 billion VND, reaching 60.41% of the yearly estimate; revenue from import and export activities is more than 144 billion VND, accounting for 37.9% of the yearly estimate.

The total local budget balancing expenditure reached more than 4,570 billion VND, including expenditures such as development investment spending, regular expenditures, defense and security expenditures, etc...

According to the assessment, the socio-economic situation of the province in the first six months continued to achieve positive results over the same period.

In addition, the tax sector has collaborated with relevant branches to strengthen revenue management, thereby facilitating the state budget collection to be relatively high compared to the yearly estimate.
