Striving to complete clearance work in mid-August

ABO - On the morning of July 25, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong inspected the clearance work of Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project (referred as the project) in Cai Be and Cai Lay districts.

According to report, on July 25, the project site clearance work still has 46/3,292 households who have not received compensation and support.

Specifically, Cai Be district has 39 remaining households (at An Thai Trung intersection (IC7) with 30 households, the bridge overpass the provincial road 861 with 9 households); Chau Thanh district has 6 households (the route connects provincial road 878 to Than Cuu Nghia intersection branch); Cai Lay district has Tran Van Khoi household to relocate the rice milling plant.

Among 30 households who have not received compensation and support at IC7 intersection, there are 10 households who agreed to receive compensation and support.

To speed up the progress of clearance work, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong asked leaders of Cai Be district People's Committee to study the organization to bring money to people's homes.

At the inspection, he acknowledged the efforts of Cai Be district People's Committee in clearance work.

Regarding land clearance for the remaining households, comrade Le Van Huong agreed with opinions of the departments and agencies on settling towards compensation for 9 remaining households; at the same time, continuing to mobilize the remaining households to receive compensation and support.

In the case of Tran Van Khoe household, comrade Le Van Huong asked relevant departments and localities to continue campaigning for receiving compensation and support to hand over the land to the investor.

In mid-August, the Provincial People's Committee will hold a conference to review the clearance work.
