To call for investment in an agricultural product processing factory in Tan Phuoc district

ABO - On November 2, the delegation of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and investors has just worked with the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee about researching and building an agricultural product processing factory in Tan Phuoc district.

According to the Tien Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province now has nearly 80,000 hectares of fruit trees, the annual output of more than 1.5 million tons of fruits of all kinds. The whole province has established some concentrated planting areas such as pineapple (15,500 hectares), durian (13,000 hectares); dragon fruit (8,000 hectares) and jackfruit (6,000 hectares).

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee introduced investors to a 200-hectare land plot in My Duc hamlet, My Phuoc commune of Tan Phuoc district to call for investment in an agricultural product processing factory. Currently this location is convenient for transportation, including roads and waterways.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong committed that when investors invest in agricultural processing plants, the Provincial People's Committee will plan planting areas to meet the needs of the factory.

The province is committed to ensuring the needs of electricity, water, connection transport for production enterprises, etc...

The leaders of the provincial People's Committee and the Mission of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the investor have a trip to survey the dragon fruit growing areas of My Tinh An Dragon Fruit Cooperative.
