At this time, the water source in Vam Giong and Tham Thu channels were exhausted so it could not be pumped into the canals. It makes over 3,000 hectares of winter-spring rice in Binh Phu, Thanh Cong, Dong Thanh communes, etc... of Go Cong district to be short of irrigation water.

At the inspection, comrade Le Van Huong asked related agencies and Go Cong Tay district to urgently complete the dam building, installing the pump boat system to quickly additionally pump the N8 canal.
Comrade Huong directed the related sector to operate the pumping system from 14 to Vam Giong canal to supply water for N8 canal in the afternoon of February 13.

At the same time, it is required that the Agriculture sector calculates the sharing of water resources in Go Cong sweetening area to serve production in the condition that Xuan Hoa sluice gate cannot be drained.

Earlier, on the morning of the same day, comrade Le Van Nghia came to inspect the work against drought and salinity in Go Cong Dong district.
