VOV-Doctor24 and VOV-Bacsi24 are two software solutions that allow users to register for consultation with doctors across the country, from anywhere and at any time of the day. The applications give users easy access to economical healthcare measures that are suitable for smartphones, tablets and personal computers running IOS, Android and Windows.

The typical advantage of the applications is to support 3G and 4G free of charge when there is no wifi connection or low transmission. They ensure the quality of doctors joining the service, as well as their security and fees. The system is able to save conversations so that patients can replay them again when needed.

At the launch ceremony, on behalf of the unit creating and deploying the applications, General Director of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Nguyen The Ky said that, at present, domestic community healthcare is facing a range of difficulties, with hospitals being overloaded and people living far away from medical facilities that are in need of health advice but do not know which method is suitable.

The Health and Food Safety Channel (VOV FM89) under VOV has developed the software allowing online video call consultation on smart phones and computers to serve this need, Ky stated, adding that the new applications will create a bridge and act as a useful information channel between people, doctors and the healthcare sector, thus facilitating medical examinations and consultations.

The applications also help people to enjoy a new experience and gain useful knowledge to protect and care for themselves, their families and the community. VOV will collect comments from users in order to effectively improve the applications and integrate new sub-conveniences for people across the country and the overseas Vietnamese community using the service.
