Nomad life frames in Ninh Thuan

Ninh Thuan is a province in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. Coming to Ninh Thuan, one can see images of nomadic people, with their sheep in farms, fields and mountain slopes.

* Sheep, the domestic animal variety in Ninh Thuan, was experimentally kept by French people over 100 years ago.

* Every day, the nomadic people drive their sheep to the field or hilly areas so that they can graze naturally.

* Before being released into the field, each sheep is tested for diseases.

* The nomads have to take the sheep five to six kilometers away to reach the fields. The main food of the sheep is weeds.

* Children learn to roam across the fields with their parents pretty early on in life.

* Sheep quench their thirst and take a dip in Thanh Son dam, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province

* At the end of the day, when the sun sets behind the mountains, the sheep finally return to their pens. Despite challenges, the nomads are constantly trying to find a way to earn a living, hoping that their next generations will not have to face similar ordeals.
