NA Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan emphasised the need to construct a proper concept of public policy and advised the compiling committee to adjust several articles in the draft.

Other contents of public service management mentioned in the draft, such as e-government, were also discussed at the meeting.

Speaking at the closing session, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan urged the Government, as well as the NA’s committees of law, the NA’s Secretary General and the relevant agencies and organisations, to adhere to the NASC’s opinions when finalising the resolutions, reports and other documents.

She asked the NA’s Secretary General to sum up the conclusions on the specific contents in order to create a report on the general conclusions of the session for the relevant agencies, organisations and individuals to study, adhere to and execute.

During the 13th session of the NASC, the committee also scrutinized five bills scheduled to be submitted to the NA for consideration at the upcoming fourth session, including the amended law on national defense, the law on the protection of State secrets, the law on the amendments and supplements in regards to articles of the law on Vietnam’s overseas representative agencies, the law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the law on judicial records, and the law on public administration.

The establishment of the People’s Court and People’s Procuracy of Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province, along with the use of the central budget in 2016 and 2017 were approved.
