National Assembly Standing Committee discusses 8 laws

ABO/NDO - The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) began convening its 26th meeting on August 8, to discuss amendments to seven existing laws and give their opinions on a new bill.

Revisions are expected to be made to the laws on education, higher education, animal husbandry, cultivation, the people’s public security force, amnesty, and corruption prevention.

Members of the committee will also express their opinions on the architecture bill, which will be presented to the National Assembly for the first time.

The agenda of the NASC also includes discussions on a draft decree regulating the functions, duties, rights and structure of a committee responsible for managing state capital at enterprises.

In addition, question and answer sessions on ethnic policies and crime matters are set to begin on August 13 as part of the committee’s 26th meeting.
