Completing the political tasks in 2018

In 2018, with the determination of leadership of the the Executive Board of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee and the management of the Provincial People's Committee along with the efforts of both the political system and people, the socio-economic development situation achieved encouraging results. .

In particular, the province completed and exceeded the main targets of the year. Specifically, the economic growth rate reached 7.24%; total export turnover reached 2.8 billion USD; total state budget revenue reached 8,726 billion VND; total development investment capital of the whole society reached nearly 31,900 billion VND; 731 newly established businesses; poverty rate fell to 3.41%; twenty new rural communes launched; more than 1,900 party members admitted, etc ... The fields of culture - society had good changes, traffic accidents reduced all 3 criteria, social security continued to be interested in implementation, the people's life was stable.

In parallel with the advantages, the conference also identified remaining limitations and challenges to the leadership of implementing political tasks in 2019, thereby determining solutions to overcome and overcome difficulties to fulfill the targets.

The conference agreed to adopt a Resolution on the implementation of political tasks in 2019, which unified through 21 socio-economic development targets. Specifically: GRDP to increase from 7 to 7.5%; total export turnover to reach 3 billion USD; total budget revenue to reach 9,305 billion VND; the total investment capital of the whole society to get from 34,500 VND to 34,700 billion VND; to launche 23 new rural communes; 85.8% of the population to participate in health insurance; to reach 6.8 doctors and 22.5 hospital beds/10,000 people; over 98% of party members to complete their tasks and over 85% of party organizations to complete their tasks or more, etc ...

In particular, at the conference, the Standing Provincial Party Committee approved the Decision of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on appointing the member of the Executive Provincial Party Committee to Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Van Man; regarding the vote of confidence for 12 comrades in the Standing Provincial Party Committee; all comrade’s the vote of confidence met the requirement.

 

At the conference, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh directed the major tasks of the Executive Board of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee to focus on implementing leadership to fulfill the political tasks in 2019.
