Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong inspects the progress of building new countryside

ABO - On August 5, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspected the progress of building new countryside in Cai Lay town and Chau Thanh district.

According to the Cai Lay town People's Committee, in 2019, the locality has 2 communes registered to launch new countryside as Nhi Quy commune and My Hanh Trung commune.

Until now, 2 communes have achieved 18/19 criteria of new countryside. The criteria of the school has not yet been completed because the works have just been started.

Besides, the Cai Lay town also recommended Tan Binh commune to strive to launch new countryside (one year earlier) because the commune has achieved 16/19 criteria.

According to Chau Thanh district People's Committee, Nhi Binh and Huu Dao communes submitted appraisal criteria for new countryside, many criteria recognized by the province. Two communes currently are focusing on completing the remaining targets in order to make the launch of new countryside in late August.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong agreed with Cai Lay town about to let Tan Binh commune strive to launch new countryside in 2019.

Particularly, Nhi Quy and My Hanh Trung communes need to continue strengthening other criteria. At the same time, the PPC will have a working session with the directors of two school construction units in two communes to accelerate the progress to launch new countryside on this year.

Particularly for Nhi Binh and Huu Dao communes, Chairman of the PPC praised the results and the effort of communes in building new countrydise.

At the same time, he requested the Tien Giang Department of Transport - Transport to support 2 communes to complete traffic works; Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment comes to inspect basic construction works to speed up construction progress, for contractors to commit to specific progress, etc...
