On September 25, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong led the delegation supervised the dengue fever prevention in Phu An commune (Cai Lay district) and Cai Be town (Cai Be district).

Up to September 17, there are 2,279 cases of dengue fever in the whole province and two dead cases, of which, Cai Be district has the highest number of cases with 456 cases. The second unit is My Tho city with 381 cases and the third is Chau Thanh district with 319 cases.

Phu An commune and Cai Be town are two localities with high cases of degue fever, namely, Phu An commune has 24 cases, Cai Be towns has 44 cases.
