According to the report of the Tien Giang province Social Insurance, by the end of August, the total number of people participated in social insurance as over 1.4 million people, reaching 97.6% of the target; of which over 190,000 people were compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance were over 3,100 people, reaching 94.6% of the social insurance premiums allocated in 2018. In 2018, the whole province collected social insurance and health insurance was 2.673 billion, reached 63 % of the plan for social insurance in Vietnam, the social insurance schemes were solved for over 200,000 people. The total social insurance, health insurance was 98.6 billion, accounting for 2.3% of the plan in 2018.
