In 2018, Tien Giang province’s Sponsorship Fund for Children mobilized money and goods of over 4 billion VND, coordinating with units and enterprises to take care of their material and spiritual life, through many programs for children.

In particular, through the programs, Tien Giang province’s Sponsorship Fund for Children helped over 3,800 children such as: giving scholarships, giving bicycles, giving Tet gifts, giving Mid-Autumn gifts, building great unity houses for families with children in difficulties circumstances, implementing the program "Strengthening to school", etc…

At the conference, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc noted many opinions of the sponsors in 2019.

He emphasized: In 2019, the Tien Giang province’s Sponsorship Fund for Children should continue to promote the sense of responsibility; expanding support objects as well as mobilizing more units and enterprises to join hands to care for children; raising the allowance norms for matching objects.

Besides, the Tien Giang Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs should advise and propose to increase the cost of building houses of gratitude and love in order to raise the level of support for beneficiaries.
