Contributing idea to the plan of designing the commercial - service urban in the Northwest

ABO – My Tho city People's Committee has just held a meeting to contribute idea to the plan of designing subdivision planning project with the scale 1/2,000 of the commercial - service urban area in the Northwest of My Tho city.

Planning project with the scale of 1/2,000 of the commercial - service urban area in the Northwest of My Tho city by 2030, which was consulted and designed by Ho Chi Minh City Architecture and Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company, with a scale of 1,062 hectares, including all ward 10, a part of Phuoc Thanh commune and Trung An commune and Dao Thanh commune.

According to design, the commercial - service urban area in the Northwest of My Tho city will include functional areas such as: residential land; mixed development zones; administrative area, city-level politics and regional tourism-service area.

Many ideas contributed to the plan such as: central point layout appropriate solid waste transfer, avoiding environmental pollution; reviewing and adjusting the boundary line accordingly; arranging green areas in the central area to be reasonable; redefining the current status of land boundaries, etc...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the My Tho city People's Committee Nguyen Quang Thanh asked the consultant to absorb the opinions of the delegates, supplementing and completing the plan of planning projects, in which, focusing on arranging land fund to build social houses, resettled; At the same time, contacting the relevant departments to review, supplement and complete the planning and send the relevant documents to the Urban Management Office of My Tho city in mid-April 2019.
