Comrade Nguyen Thi Sang presents gifts to veterans of Go Cong Dong district

ABO - On November 28, the delegation of Tien Giang province, led by Vice Chairwoman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang, presented gifts to the weak and sick veterans of Go Cong Dong district.

 

The delegation visited three veterans including Pham Tuc Nam in Gia Thuan commune, Pham Truong Giang and Tran Cung in Phuoc Trung commune. These veterans took part in fighting in the two wars against France and the United States, currently suffering from chronic cardiovascular diseases, diabetes.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Sang expressed deep gratitude to the veterans for valiantly fighting for the independence, freedom and protection of Vietnam's sovereignty.

On behalf of the delegation, comrade Nguyen Thi Sang presented each veteran a gift worth 1 million VND.
