Japan volunteers bid farewell to the PPC

On the afternoon of September 22, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Tran Thanh Duc has just received senior counselor of volunteer program at JICA Vietnam Ohi Toshiki and volunter Umezaki Noriko coming to bid farewell after 2 years working in Tien Giang province.

At the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc thanked and expressed deep gratitude to volunteers of JICA for their active support to the Tien Giang province in recent years. With practical projects such as promoting the development of tourism, promoting tourism in Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village, Cai Be district as well as Thoi Son tourist area, Japanese language teaching for cadres of the province; propagandizing on environmental protection at Thoi Son primary schools, etc…, dedicated volunteers of JICA have contributed to promoting the development of Tien Giang province.

In the future, Tien Giang province hoped that JICA would continue to support Japanese language teaching volunteers in the province as well promoting its potential and strength to attract Japanese businesses to invest in Tien Giang.

Umezaki Noriko thanked the leaders and people of Tien Giang province for her 2 years of volunteers working in Tien Giang.
