According to the general assessment, in the first six months 2019, the PPC has focused on effectively implementing the objectives of economic, cultural and social development; continuing to improve the business environment; improving national competitiveness, especially deploying many solutions to develop industry, agriculture, new rural construction, urban development, tourism, business development, attract investment, reduce poverty , social security, etc...

The economic growth (GRDP) reached 7.07%, higher than the same period of 2018 nearly 0.20%; agriculture, forestry, fishery increased reached 2.49%, industry-construction increased by 12.8%, service increased by more than 6%, product tax increased by 14.7%.

The total state budget revenue reached 5,439 billion VND, reaching 58.5% of the plan and up 22.7% over the same period; education - training, health, culture - arts, social welfare, infrastructure changed in a positive way, political security, security and defense were stable, traffic accident reduced all 3 criteria, etc...
