One million fresh flower baskets for the Lunar New Year 2019

ABO - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019, flower growers in Tien Giang province will provide more than 1 million fresh flowers basket.

This year, the number of flowers concentrated in My Tho city with traditional flowers such as Marigold, Daisy, Sunflower, etc… In addition, to meet the need of buyers during the Tet, the flower village also planted new flowers such as Dong Tien, Yen Quoc, Kim Da, Dua Can, Cat Tuong,  with the main consumption market at My Tho city, Ho Chi Minh city and neighboring provinces.

According to flower growers, flower prices this year may increase by 10 to 15% over the same period because the following reason: the erratic weather; the prices of materials, plant protection drugs, input costs and labor costs increase by 10% compared to the flower season in 2018.

With the favorable weather as well as the diligence and experience accumulated, the flower growers in My Tho city in particular and Tien Giang province  in general hope for the biggest flower crop of the year to have high prices.
