Chairman of the PPC works with enterprises in My Tho Industrial Park

ABO - On Agust 23, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong and leaders of related sectors worked with enterprises in My Tho Industrial Park including Heineken Vietnam Brewery Limited Company - Tien Giang and My Tho Port Joint Stock Company.

At the working session, representative of the Vietnam Heineken Brewery Limited Company - Tien Giang reported a summary of business results in 2018 and the first 6 months of 2019.

The existing capacity of the plant is over 240 million liters/year, paying over 2,400 billion VND to the local budget. The company is expected to expand production, increase capacity to 300 million liters/year to meet regional demand.

Therefore, the company proposed to the provincial People's Committee and related sectors to solve some difficulties for the company to expand production and business scale.

At My Tho Port Joint Stock Company, the company reported the operation of the unit. This is one of the Mekong Delta's seaports licensed to receive 5-star passenger ships operating on the Mekong River.

In 2018, My Tho Port welcomed more than 22,000 international visitors with more than 230 tourist ships.
