ABO - The Tien Giang provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program has just proclaimed Dong Thanh commune of Go Cong Tay district as new rural commune.

After implementing the national target program on building new rural areas, Go Cong Tay commune has now reached 19/19 new rural areas criteria. The transport infrastructure in rural areas has developed.

The poverty rate reduces to 2.22%; 100% of people in the commune can use electricity and ensure electricity safety; the percentage of people participating in health insurance reaches 90.6%, etc…
