Four key tasks missions of Tien Giang banking sector

The State Bank of Viet Nam - Tien Giang branch should closely follow the directions of the Government, the State Bank of Vietnam and the Provincial Party Committee as well as the Provincial People's Committee to lead the entire banking system; strengthening well in coordination with departments, branches to remove difficulties, obstacles and recommendations of customers; coordinating with functional agencies to handle bad debts strictly according to regulations and well managing people's credit funds.

The banking sector should well implement credit packages for people to borrow, especially for new rural construction communes.

Credit funds need to perform well their management, risk control and management capacity.

In addition, the State Bank of Viet Nam - Tien Giang branch should generally assess non-cash payment. If necessary, the bank sector will request the Provincial People's Committee to hold a conference to continue to thoroughly grasp and focus on implementing this policy.

According to the State Bank of Viet Nam - Tien Giang branch, by the end of November 1919, the total mobilized capital in the province reached 68,256 billion VND, an increase of 7,912 billion VND compared to the end of 2018 (an increase of more than 13 percent); credit balance reached VND 54,970 billion, an increase of VND 6,525 billion (up over 13 percent; bad debt accounted for 0.83 percent of total outstanding loans).

According to the overall assessment, the basic indicators of the industry such as mobilization, outstanding loans, and profits all grew; banking network has been expanded with many transaction offices established in districts, towns and city; diversified products and services have brought more and more utilities to customers, etc...
