Organizing a meeting to link expatriates with locality for building homeland

ABO - On December 24, Tien Giang People's Committee in co-ordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnamese Overseas Committee held a meeting to link expatriates with locality for building homeland, integration and development in 2019.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee informed the province's socio-economic situation in 2019 and some solutions will be focused on implementing in 2020. He praised the positive contributions of Vietnamese overseas in the fields of economics, politics, culture, society, etc...; calling for expatriates to implement well the items socio-economic targets in 2020, contributing to building Tien Giang province to become increasingly prosperous.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnamese Overseas Committee Phung Cong Dung affirmed the policy of the Party, the State always considers Vietnamese overseas as an inseparable part and a source of Vietnamese ethnic community. The meeting to link Vietnamese overseas with locality in Tien Giang province is an opportunity for expatriates to link and exchange as well as explore business investment opportunities and bring practical effects in the long run, etc…

On this occasion, the delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation between Tien Giang Business Association and Vietnam – Korea Business and Investment Association.
