"Vietnam Glory" programme five outstanding collectives and 11 individuals

ABO/NDO- Five outstanding collectives and 11 individuals were honoured during a programme entitled “Vietnam Glory”, held in Hanoi on June 4.

The event was organised by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) as part of activities marking the 94th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929-2023) and to welcome the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.

Speaking at the ceremony, VGCL President Nguyen Dinh Khang noted, that this year's “Vietnam Glory” programme, themed “The Will of Vietnam”, aimed to recognise and honour the collectives and individuals with exceptionally outstanding achievements in the cause of national construction and protection, thereby sparking the spirit of patriotism, determination, and creative labour for the development of the country, as well as the goal of building a powerful nation of wealthy people and a democratic, equal, and civilised society.

The Organising Committee has selected collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, many of them have been awarded the titles of Hero of Labour, Hero of the Armed Forces, and other noble orders, he added.

At over 17 organisations of the programme, 258 groups and individuals with particularly outstanding achievements in various fields of life were honoured. They have constantly promoted their qualities and experiences, as well as devoted themselves to serving the people and society.
