Signing of cooperation programe in agriculture, farmer and rural

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tien Giang province has just signed a cooperation program in 2017-2021 period with the Provincial Co-operative Federation and the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Association.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the Provincial Co-operative Federation will promote the implementation and improve the quality of the content of innovation and development of cooperation in the agricultural sector in the 2017-2020 period, the Conclusion 56 KL/TW dated February 21, 2013 of the Politburo on stepping up the implementation of the Resolution on continuation of renovating, developing, raising the efficiency of collective economy and Directive No19/CT-TTg dated 24-7-2015 of the Prime Minister on stepping up the implementation of the Law on Co-operatives, contributing to the effective implementation of the restructuring of the agriculture sector associated with building new rural areas.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Association will improve the capacity and effectiveness of each agency; to promote scientific and technological activities in the field of agriculture and rural development, to create incentives for agricultural development and new rural construction, to improve the life of farmer; to carry out activities of scientific research, application, transfer of technology and scientific and technological advances to agricultural production.
