Surveying on tourism products in Tien Giang province and Dong Thap province

The Tien Giang province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Long An, Dong Thap province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Department organizing the delegation to survey the tourism products in Tien Giang province and Dong Thap province.

In Tien Giang province, 11 travel enterprises from three provinces of Tien Giang province, Long An province, Dong Thap province and Ho Chi Minh city visited new tourism destinations such as Long Dinh mat villiage Lang Dinh of Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap Muoi Ecological Preservation zone, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, located in Tan Phuoc district.

At each destination, the delegation was introduced about the potential development of tourism such as: the process of weaving the Long Dinh mat; boating in Dong Thap Muoi Ecological Reserve to admire more than 70 species of plants and over 83 rare species of animals with an area of nearly 110 hectares, etc...

In Dong Thap province, the delegation visited the new tourist sites attracted tourists as well as introduced to the potential of tourism development such as: the national bird park located in Tam Nong district with an area of more than 7,300 hectares and more than 230 bird species, the Go Thap archaeological site in Thap Muoi district. In addition, the delegation came to the pink mandarin garden in Lai Vung district with an area of more than 2,000 hectares provided nearly 40,000 tons on the occassion of Tet market, etc ...

The survey of tourism products and routes of the provinces will help tourism companies as well as travel agencies to research effectively exploit the local new tourist destinations with unique characteristics of each province to attracts visitors to visit the tourist sites in Dong Thap Muoi area.
