Changing the way of working to reduce meetings

At the meeting, Director of the Tien Giang Department of Education and Training Nguyen Hong Oanh said that in recent years, although the province has adjusted down meetings but due to the mechanism and education sector, the meeting still have many and passive in some meetings of the PPC.

Therefore, the Education sector proposed to reduce the meeting to promote professional work. Agreeing with the opinion of Nguyen Hong Oanh, leaders of some departments and branches also said that it is necessary to study to reduce meetings.

In response to the comments of the departments, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Pham Anh Tuan raised a number of reasons to the situation of many meetings. At the same time, he said that the province will definitely reform and improve the effectiveness of the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong noted the comments of the PPC’s members as well as local leaders. He emphasized that: "In order to reduce the meeting, we have to change the way of working, so the work efficiency is improved as well as the meeting is reduced."
Particularly for specific tasks, Chairman of the PPC asked the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with localities to explain to the public about the charge rates at the market; Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs tries to take care of Tet holidays for thoughtful policy beneficiaries to avoid overlapping and omission, etc...

Also at the meeting, leaders of departments and agencies reported on the implementation of socio-economic development targets in 2018; budget collection and spending work; Tet care for policy beneficiaries; organizing entertainment and entertainment activities for the Lunar New Year 2019, etc...
